James H. Daniel

James H. Daniel, 85, of Aurora, passed away June 23, 2019 while at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born June 4, 1934, to the late P.G. and Iva Mae Daniel. He was married in 1954 in Monett, to Betty; she survives.
He was retired from Juvenile Shoe in Aurora, he attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, and was a member of the National Guard in Monett, the Old Time Fiddler’s and the National Fishing Lure Collection Club.
Daniel is survived by: brother, Clifford (Paulin) Daniel of Monett; sisters, Loretta (Paul) Crouch, Maxine Daniel, and Betty (Donald) Coy all of Verona.
Visitation will be held Thursday June 27, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Funeral services are being held Friday, June 29, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett. Burial will follow services at the Calton Cemetery in Pleasant Ridge. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home in Mt. Vernon. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
