James Cleveland Bair

James Cleveland Bair was born to Charles and Fay Bair on April 15,1942 and passed away March 18, 2021 at the Spring Valley Health Center in Springfield after a short illness.
He is survived by his spouse of 30 years, Patty; daughters, Angela Allen and Carla Price; step-son, Kit (Yvette) Baumgartner; step daughter, Holly Parker, 10 grandchildren and one great grand-son; brother, Wayne (Mary) Bair; sister, Cathy Bair (Tod) Solsberg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bair graduated from Parkview High School in 1960. He worked at Frisco Railroad for many years, then as a licensed realtor and home builder. Upon retirement Jim and Patty moved to a farm in Dade County, where they spent 20 years raising beef cattle.
Bair was a Shriner and member of Abou Ben Adhem Temple and the Greenfield Masonic Lodge. He was a member of South Haven Baptist Church.
There will be a visitation and celebration of life for family and friends on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home South in Springfield.
