Imogene Hemphill

Imogene Hemphill, 95, of Monett passed away Aug. 9, 2019 while staying at Lacoba Homes in Monett. She was born in Cassville, Oct. 16, 1923; to the late Lloyd and Maude (Truhitte) Hemphill Sr. She was a housekeeper and a member of the New Site Baptist Church in Monett.
Hemphill is survived by: her sister-in-law Betty Embry of Purdy and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lloyd Hemphill Jr.
Graveside services were held Aug. 13, 2019 at the Purdy Cemetery in Purdy. Memorials may be made to the New Site Baptist Church in Monett. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
