Ida Mae’s Foods earns Betterment Council Beautification Award

 The recently opened Ida Mae’s Foods and Bakery, McCanse Street, earned the Beautification Award from the Mt. Vernon Community Betterment Council. The council awards the honor monthly to deserving businesses around Mt. Vernon who take pride in their curb appeal. Ida Mae’s operates out of a revamped and remodeled older home at 929 S.
