Hawaiian Beef Burgers

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Hawaiian Beef Burgers by Carol Estes

1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 T. worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/3 cup pineapple preserves (optional)
1/3 cup barbecue sauce
6 pineapple slices (optional)
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Combine the beef, onion, worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and pineapple preserves. Shape into patties. Place in pan and cook on grill. Brush with barbecue sauce.

When done, place on toasted bun and top with pineapple slice. Garnish as desired.
