Glen Allen Wormington

Glen Allen Wormington, passed away Feb. 2, 2019, from a short illness at his home.
Wormington was born on June 22, 1958, in Joplin, to Ralph E. Wormington and Emma Jean (Adams) Wormington. He attended school in Marionville, retired from custodial service and lived in Southwest Missouri most of his life. He loved to refinish furniture and enjoyed listening to country music, with Johnny Cash being his favorite artist. He was of the Baptist faith.
In 1997, in Eureka Springs, Ark., Wormington married Dixie Ritter. They were blessed with many wonderful memories made together until her passing in 2009.
Survivors include: his best friends, Derrick Fly and James May, both of the home; brothers, Ralph (Jo Ann) Wormington and Gene Wormington; sisters, Clara Burley, Nancy Rancator and Carol Norris; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his step-son, David Hoit; and a brother, Jackie Wormington.
Memorial services are pending at this time. Memorials may be made to Haven of the Ozarks in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
