GERALD “RODNEY” WROBLESKI

Gerald “Rodney” Wrobleski, 66, of Monett passed away on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024. He was born in Monett on Monday, March 10, 1958; the son of Gerald and Betty (Craton) Wrobleski.
He married Melissa McCaffrey on Saturday, Jan. 31, 1981, in Monett and they shared over 43 years together.
He spent 20 years working at Jumping Jacks Shoes and finished his career at FedEx Trade Network.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa; one son, Ryan (Lindsey) Wrobleski of Grain Valley: a daughter, Angela (Todd) Tymeson of Bentonville, Ark.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Buchanan of Liberty and Jacki (Kyle) Edwards of Monett; a brother-in-law, Gary Pierce of Pierce City; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Don Kutz; and his sister Mary “Guessie” Pierce.
Funeral mass was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City on Friday, Sept. 13, with Father Matt Rehrauer officiating. A private family burial was held on a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to the personal care of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
