Al fresco graduation at alma mater for Mt’neers
On what turned out to be a picture-perfect spring night, Thursday, June 11, the Mt. Vernon High School graduating class of 2020 finally received the send-off they’ve been patiently awaiting. Nearly a month after what would have been their original graduation date, the students were able to officially say goodbye to MVHS. In a not-so traditional setting, students received their diplomas outside at Mt’Neer stadium, with the stage on the field and chairs carefully spaced apart.
