Elnora Raper, 95, of Marionville passed away on Feb. 1, 2024, with her  family by her side. She was born on Sept. 22, 1928, in Hurley, to Leslie and Vest (Merritt) Gold, one of five children in the home.
She graduated from Hurley High School with the class of 1946.
On April 3, 1948, she married the love of her life, Bobby Raper. She spent most of her career in the banking industry. She was a bank manager in California and when the family relocated back to Missouri, she continued as both manager and in customer service until she retired at the age of 77.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (John) Wheeler; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby; siblings, Ellen Pilz, Bill Gold, Tommy Gold and Sugar Marie Wolfe; as well as many other dear friends and relatives.
A visitation and funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Meadors Funeral Home in Clever. She was laid to rest next to her late husband in Crane Community Cemetery.
