Doris L. Colwell

Doris L. Colwell, 90, of Aurora passed away May 13, 2019,  in Springfield. She was born to Ralph and Anna Randolph Hough on March 3, 1929, in Lebanon. She worked for the Aurora Advertiser for several years and was a member of the Aurora First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: sons, Steve (Karen) Colwell of Rogers, Ark. and Drew (Trina) Colwell of Shell Knob; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Jim Colwell; son, Mack Colwell; and brother, Junior Hough.
Funeral services were held May 17, in the Aurora First Baptist Church under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Maple Park Cemetery.
