Donald O. Mead

Donald O. Mead, 79, of Everton passed away at his home Oct. 11, 2020. He was born Jan. 23, 1941 to Vernon O. Maxine (Whitehead) Mead.
He graduated from Ash Grove High School and was employed as a stone mason and commercial painter. Don and Mary Jane were married in 1959.
He is survived by his wife; son, Donald (Janice) Joe; daughter in-law, Mary Lisa Mead; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Max Mead and Danny Mead; three nephews; four nieces; aunt, Dorothy Johnson; and a host of cousins and friends.
Graveside services were held Oct. 14 at Antioch Cemetery, Everton. Under the direction of Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
