COVID-19 testing to be offered in Dade County, Wed., July 1

Recently, Dade County has seen a large increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the surrounding area.
Because of this, Dade County is being included in a COVID-19 testing opportunity performed by the Missouri National Guard in cooperation with the Missouri State Department of Health and Senior Services and local county health departments from across the state. This testing opportunity is for any resident of Missouri, with or without symptoms, and there is no cost to be tested. No physicians note is needed to be tested.
The schedule for testing is as follows:10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, at Main Street Baptist Church, 513 Crestview Street in Greenfield.
This will be a drive through test clinic so those in attendance will not have to leave their vehicle. You may register for an appointment by visiting https:// health.mo.gov/communitytest or call the COVID Hotline at 877-435- 8411 for assistance in registering.
The test will consist of a PCR nasopharyngeal swab.
Testing is free and open to any Missouri resident. Walk-ins at the site are accepted if appointment slots are available.
For more information, contact Pamela Allen, Administrator, Dade County Health Department at (417) 637-2345.
