Casimiro Gomez Meza

Casimiro Gomez Meza, 52, of Monett, passed away on Oct. 26, 2019, while at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.
Casimiro was born March 4, 1967 in Quelitan, Jalisco, Mexico, son of Eladio Gomez Rios and Aurelia Gomez Meza. Casimiro had worked for Fasco in Cassville for the last ten years, he has worked at George’s in Butterfield. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  
Meza is survived by: his wife, Felicitas Guerra Verdin; sons, Luis (Sasha) Gomez of Purdy, Andres Gomez, of Springfield and Diego Gomez, of Monett; daughter, Noelia (Walter) Gomez of Monett; parents, Eladio Gomez Rios and Aurelia Gomez Meza; one granddaughter; brother, Juan Gomez Meza; seven sisters, Ramona (Martin) Medina, Maria (Federico) Nunez, Tomasa Gomez, Leonor Gomez, Mariela (Valentin) Vizcaino, Hilda Gomez and Adriana (Antonio Serrano) Gomez and husband; as well as a host of extended family and friends. Meza was preceded in death by sister, Aracely Gomez.  
Rosary was held Oct. 31, 2019 at Buchanan Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Nov. 1, 2019 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett. Interment followed at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
