Carole Audine Green

Carole Audine Green, 76, of Pierce City passed away on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at Cox-Monett in Monett, with family by her side. She was born in Eau Claire, Wis. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 1948, daughter of Garland and Velva (Brevig) Green. She was 1967 graduate of Fall Creek High School. She was a CNA and a licensed and certified hypnotherapist. She left home at 15 and put herself through high school. She wanted to see America and people after graduation. She loved meeting people. She worked as long as she could. She owned a hotel for seven years in Wisconsin and worked at Miller’s Photo Lab in Springfield. She had two children and a grandchild.
She is survived by a son, Justin Larry (Emilie Pelfrene) Jones; granddaughter, Mariah Gulick; two brothers, Dennis (Linda) Green, of Pierce City and Dale (Juanita) Green, of Elizabethtown, Ky.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Angela Lynn Gulick; and four brothers, Garland Green, Jr., twins Richard and Raymond Green; and Paul Green.
She has been cremated at her request. The family will have a private service. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
