Carol Ester Elliott

Carol Ester Elliott, 86, of Marionville, passed away March 15, 2020, at her home. She was born Dec. 24, 1933, in McKinley, to Arthur Allen and Isla Fernne (Krotcher) Dawdy.
Elliott was the owner and operator of the Dairy Twist in Aurora, in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. She worked for Kutzner-Elliott Trucking Company in Marionville, the Ozarks Methodist Manor and the Aurora School District.In 1950, she married Charles Elliott in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Elliott is survived by: her husband of 70 years, Charles; sons, Wayne (Mary)Elliott of Aurora and Chris Elliott of Marionville; daughters, Anita (James) McFee of Marionville, Jean Mooneyham of Aurora and Dana (Kelly) Kutzner of Marionville; sisters, Nina (David) Cross of Aurora and Helen (Charles) Weeks of Bella Vista, Ark.; 21 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by: her parents, Arthur and Isla; brothers, Marion, Junior and Leigh Dawdy; and sisters, Ione Patten, Marclar Countryman, Mary Ann Hickman and Leota Faye Seward; and one grandson, Jeremy Wayne Mooneyham.
A memorial service was held March 19, 2020, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Burial followed at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
