BILLIE JOE LENTZ, JR.

Billie Joe Lentz, Jr., 64, of Rogers passed away August 29, 2024, at his home. He was born December 4, 1959, in Frankfurt, Germany to Billie Joe Lentz, Sr. and Diana Kay (Gray) Lentz.
Billie was a long-time resident of Northwest Arkansas where he worked for nearly 20 years in the shipping department at Zebra Technologies. Billie also served for 20 years in the Army and retired as a Staff Sergeant. During his time in the Army, he played saxophone in the Army band.
Survivors include his mother, Diana Gray of Rogers; one son, Andrew Lentz (Trina) of North Carolina; one brother, Paul Lentz (Melissa) of Rogers; one sister, Cindy Staponski (Rick) of Missouri; niece, Jacey Murray (Chris) of Arizona; nephew, Branden Lentz of Northwest Arkansas; step-nephews, Jay and Chris Sanders of Northwest Arkansas; and many other loved ones.
Billie was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Debra Gibson.
Billie’s remains will be interred at the Macedonia Cemetery in Stella, Missouri.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Epting Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark.
