Betty Lou Yeater

Betty Lou (Hass) Yeater, 96, of Marionville, passed away Nov. 16, 2019, at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Albany, to Wayne and Lela (Harmon) Hass.
Yeater was a 1941 graduate of Grant City High School in Grant City and the Chillicothe Business College in Chillicothe. She was the manager of the Farm and Home Savings in Kansas City, for 30 years retiring in 1982. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Kansas City Airstream Club. In 1949, she married Homer Gerald (Bob) Yeater in Marshall; he preceded her in death in 2018.
She is survived by: her sister, Mary Ellen (Don) Boll of Verona; three sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Wayne and Lela, husband, Homer; sisters, Carol (Joe) Davis and Helen (Charles) Smith, brothers, Hale, Don and William Hass.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, at the South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Blvd., Belton. Burial will be held at a later date at the Grandview Cemetery in Albany. Arrangements are under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home in Marionville, .
