Betty Lou Andrus

Betty Lou Andrus, who loved to be called “Mother” by her kids, departed her loving family on January 15, 2021, at her home.  Betty was born August 2, 1941, in Osa, Missouri the daughter of Walter “Jack” and Coda (Rea) Wells.
Betty was mother to Toni Andrus of Aurora, Missouri and Darren Andrus of Brentwood, Tennessee. She raised her children with love and devotion in Aurora, with her husband, Dale, of 58 years.
As an accountant at Price Cutter, Betty was known for her attention to detail.  Her hobbies included quilting and traveling to wherever her children and grandchildren were located.  She was most proud of her children and grandchildren for following and serving the Lord.
Betty is survived by her husband, Dale; her children, Toni Andrus and Darren Andrus and his wife, Nicole; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Allie, and Chloe; one brother, Jackie Wells of Aurora; two nephews, Sherman Brown and his wife, Carol, and Mike Brown; great-niece, Shelby Cook and great-nephew, Wyley Brown.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Jack, and Coda and two sisters, Mary Jane Brown and her husband, Wesley, and Elizabeth Wells.
A visitation under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the Aurora Baptist Temple with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at the Osa Cemetery, southeast of Aurora.
Due to Covid 19, the family has requested for those attending the services to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Betty can be made to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes at Tennesseechildren.org.
