Ashley LeAnne Krueger

Ashley LeAnne Krueger, 28, of Mt. Vernon, MO, passed from this life suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, May 29, 2020, while at her home.
Ashley was born on November 3, 1991 in Springfield, MO, daughter of Steve and Michelle (Krueger) Sweaney. Following her education at Aurora, Ashley earned her Associates Degree in Medical Technology. Ashley was a people person, helping those around her anyway that she could. Nursing was her calling because it allowed her to help others. Most recently, Ashley was the Office Manager for a Doctor’s Office. The light of her life, however, came from spending time with her girls.
Ashley is survived by her beloved daughters, Alexis Krueger and Braylen Huse; her parents, Michelle Wallace and husband Les and Steve Sweaney and wife Deanna; her brothers, Aaron Sweaney and Seb Sweaney; her sister, Sara Sweaney; her maternal grandparents; Jerry and Gloria Krueger; her paternal grandmother, Lora Sweaney; and a host of extended family and friends.
Ashley was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ron Sweaney.
Friends may pay their respects from noon until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Buchanan Funeral Home. The family will have a Celebration of Life service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alexis Krueger/ Braylen Huse Educational Savings Fund in care of the funeral home or Security Bank of Southwest Missouri.
