All dressed up, nowhere to go

Although tens of thousands of people weren’t there to appreciate it—as normally would’ve been the case on Apple Butter Makin’ Days weekend— the Mt. Vernon square was spruced up recently when it was completely resealed and striped. The job, paid for by the city, was done by local outfit Blevins Asphalt at a cost of $16,620.
