Randi Hall

An Aurora woman is currently being held at the Lawrence County Jail on multiple charges, including allegedly resisting arrest and escaping the custody of a law enforcement officer. Randi Hall, 25, was booked into the jail on Saturday, April 18. She was captured by officers with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
Hall’s current legal woes began when she was stopped in Aurora on Jan. 31, 2018 after failing to stop at a stop sign. According to the probable cause statement, the officer asked her if she had anything illegal in the car; he reported that she had to “look around the vehicle and think about the question before providing an answer.”
The officer reported that Hall eventually handed him a black digital scale console; residue on the scale field-tested as positive for methamphetamine. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance were filed against Hall later in July of 2018; she posted $6,500 appearance bond and was released.
In February of 2019, charges of non-support were also filed against Hall. According to the probable cause statement in the case, Hall allegedly failed to pay child support between April of 2017 and May of 2018; she had been ordered to begin paying $264 per month in child support beginning in April of 2017. Online records show Hall was scheduled to appear in court on the non-support charge on March 25, 2019, but failed to do so. A warrant was put out for her arrest.
Hall was later seen on July 18, 2019 when an Aurora-Marionville police officer pulled over a motorist for having a passenger-side headlight not working; the officer also noticed Hall was a passenger in the vehicle. According to the probable cause statement in the case, Hall allegedly got out of the vehicle and ran while the officer was speaking to dispatch.
Other officers located Hall on a rooftop at a building on Church Street. The reporting officer stated he climbed onto the roof of the building; Hall then said she was coming down. Officers took Hall into custody and put her in the back of a patrol vehicle. However, one of the officers then reported Hall was loose and fleeing west on Elliott Avenue. The officers searched the area but did not find her. A pair of handcuffs were found on the ground next to the patrol car, still in locked position.
Hall is being held without bond.
